| When Fox inevitably releases "A Christmas Story Live" to DVD and other formats, is someone going to FIX the disaster that was the Sound Mix???? Although I'm familiar with the score, I could barely discern a single lyric. The orchestra was so far "in the front" that often underscored dialogue couldn't be understood. I feel badly for Pasik and Paul because I think it's a witty, tuneful score and it could not be appreciated. I would have FIRED the Sound Designer before the first commercial break. Fox should be ashamed! | |

| That's why I always keep Closed Captioning on. I have picked up many juicy throwaway lines and lyrics that way. | |

| I wouldn't even know where the button is. Plus, it ruins the aesthetics and really takes you out of the fantasy world. On the plus side, clarity of text. |

| If they had tried to fire the sound designer, they probably wouldn't have been heard over the orchestra. Probably they will release it on DVD but the ratings and overall unpopularity of this production would not indicate any significant money being advocated to fix anything and I bet a total rethinking of the entire idea of live musical performances. | |
