| She denied repeatedly ever having said anything homophobic. In 1985 she put out a statement which was printed in The Advocate, stating that her true feelings had been misrepresented. I include a link to more information about this hurtful rumor in the hopes that any gay person planning to boycott this musical for that reason can learn a bit more about the reality of the situation. |
