It means something because it is expensive and everyone want to belong to the "club" they ban't get into. Otherwise its just a show.

I saw it for $89 in 2015; it was exhilarating and transporting; it likely still is for $229 (nmi)

So the worth of a show is in direct inverse relation to its ticket price?
Or all shows are equal?
