| The Mormons may be happy and joyous in that finale, but I wasn't. And as I read it, the question was: what was the last high water mark for joyousness on Broadway? I would agree that it was "Hairspray". For me, "Mormon" is working too hard with too little return, and the story (such as it is) is messy and poorly structured. Of course, that may well prove to be true of "SpongeBob". |
