I have lost count of the number of times I have aurally gorged myself on the spectacular vocals of Alison Jiear singing "I Just Wanna Fuckin' Dance," which broke out of the opera and became its own dance club runaway hit, complete with remixes and a whole lot of YouTube tributes. Damn. Those vocals are IN.CRED.I.BLE. Her instrument is like Judy Kuhn or Liz Callaway. Her super high belt just blends seamlessly into the brightest, 'ping'-iest mix ever. And it's GORGEOUS. I love that song. That and "Have Yourself A Good Time" are my favorites. I used to listen to them constantly back in the day. I remember when they were serious about moving into the Majestic. Then the West End production stopped selling well and they had second thoughts. Then it was at Carnegie Hall.
