Not quite. The statement was that Spongebob was the most joyous musical SINCE Hairspray, and you remarked that Mormon is pretty damn joyous.
That can be interpreted to mean that Mormon is the new benchmark for most joyous, but that isn't the only interpretation based on the words you used... particularly for those of us who didn't find Mormon to be all that joyous. Frankly, if Spongebob is only as joyous as Mormon, I'll be disappointed, but I'm in the minority.
This a fairly semantic and unimportant disagreement, but if you're going to draw a line in the sand over it, I have to point it out. |
