You can say I'm wrong all you want, it doesn't actually make me wrong. It simply means that the language you've used doesn't match your intent.
Unless you're saying I'm wrong about "Mormon" not being joyous, in which case we're free to disagree. I had wanted it to be joyous, but mainly, I felt that it was both quite lazy and supremely overworked at the same time. Of course, its status as an international mega-hit shows that most theater goers do not share my sentiments.
If this wasn't the path that you wanted this conversation to go down, there were ways of keeping it purely on SpongeBob vs. Mormon without dismissing me. I would have fully respected that you were only really interested in the question of Sponge vs. Book, had you not implied that any other question was incorrect. |
