It is documented as having first aired in 1973, but I recall watching it over Christmas 1970; and the local TV listings back me up.
Could they have possibly been two separately-filmed productions?
Anyway, I wonder if the tape(s) still exist. All I've found on YouTube is a clip from the Ed Sullivan Show at the time of the Broadway version, which isn't too shabby either. |
