| Premium pricing was started with the producers. I dont agree that this premium pricing is making scaliping worse. What is making it worse is the legitimacy on stubhub snd ticketmaster allowing anyone in the comfort of their home to be a professional scalper and not just licensed ones. They dont have to sell on streets or have a storefront. A few weeks ago, bruce had two singles on stubhub for 1500 each and a pair for 3000 each and this was 30 minutes before curtain. I dont know if they sold or prices reduced. But the prices at the kerr did not push these resale tickets to 3000. The ones to blame are people buying scalped tickets. I had no sympathy for people getting scammed with fake tickets. They got what they deserved for fueling an industry of Scalping. Until people stop buying from scalpers, the prices will remain high and the difficulty in buying regular tickets when they go on sale for us will continue to get worse with these fan sale codes. |
