Gough's performance in People, Places and Things was truly extraordinary and the production was gorgeous. The play was a disappointment but that shouldn't diminish the extraordinary experience I had both times seeing it: in London and here in NYC.
I hope they do considerable work on the physical production for ANGELS, which diminished this inconsistently performed master work. But when it soars, oh how it flies. Need to catch 42nd Street.
