This review isn't wrong. The trailer perfectly captures the generic nature of this movie and predicted it's less then stellar box office performance. It left me wondering why no one was invested in making a more accurate and period-appropriate movie about Barnum. The potential and the material are there. Why Condon et al settled for this is really unclear to me.
