The producers reported $5m capitalization last july. Thats the cost of a large play. And with no big star salaries and making over $1m a week with small cast, it should be the first musical to recoup this season. And as for winning the big prize, its not a slam dunk like hamilton, but i really dont see much competition based on the out of town reviews of the spring musicals.
