| I know Linda played at least one performance for Bette. I understand only around 600 people stayed, and word was she gave a spectacular performance. I'm delighted to read she'll be playing Mrs. Pearce in My Fair Lady. A mutual friend told me recently that she's tired of being the actress nobody wants to see. (Linda has a long career as a Broadway standby). She'll be great in the part, and at least there will be one spectacular voice on that stage! |
