Where there might have been an occassional good drama series on tv, now there are dozens like the crown and dirty little lies. And clearly the live tv musicals have been very mixed. Its hard to capture the magic of live musicsl theater, which i think tv does capture drama better. However, i think farces dont work on tv which is one reason the play that goes wrong is still playing.
