I got about 80% of my Hamilton enjoyment from the cast recording. Probably would have been 90% if I followed along with the Hamilton the Revolution book.
Saw it in row O this past spring for regular ($199) price (booked 11 months in advance). Certainly don't regret it, but the incremental value to me was small -- some dancing, staging of Helpless/Satisfied, partly offset by a somewhat sub-par cast.
