I have to admit, that is not what I expected to read. Would it be possible for you to share some numbers or sources for that?
I know that many of us working in the non-profit sector feel like we're not making enough new theater these days relative to the amount of artists who are trying to get their work put up - how the increase in production also kept pace with the increase in city size? Are we producing more plays nationwide than we were in the 70s, or has regional output gone down?
I don't know that you would have those numbers, but I would be fascinated to see if someone has them. |
