Ford is on the Playbill cover, which I posted on my FB page last night. Thank you for reminding me that it was a walk on. Was he a postman? I remember that he wandered in, but had little to do. Or say. Actually, Rose Marie didn't have much of substance. There was an excess of poor Gabriel Dell, who had to play a long suffering burglary victim (this is my memory digging) whose Stradivarius violin was smashed after a break-in. He had to wander around saying "who would do this to a beautiful thing like this?" It was maudlin, and even at 19 I knew it was lame and tired. Maybe because I was 19, I really knew, as only 19-year-olds do.
