One nitpick.
I don't think it is fair to characterize the transit between TV/film and the stage as one way. There are actually quite a few actors we would claim as ours (including especially a lot of younger ones in the last decade) who have become well-known faces on screen. This is true on regular TV but even more so on cable and now with the streaming shows. (I could make a list, but I am not keen on lists plus I don't think it is necessary.) |
