AUDIENCE LEFT BANQUETTE
Row B, Seat 7
My seat was on the aisle. My banquette was 4 seats wide. The row in front of me, the row A banquette, was only 3 seats wide, so I had nothing in front of me--meaning I had a lot of leg room. The leg room for the rest of my banquette looked tight. The banquette accommodated the 4 of us very comfortably. The banquettes resemble church pews. The back of the banquette was not as high as a regular pew, but high enough. There was a padded cushion for each person. Comfort? Not bad. Almost as comfortable as a real theater seat. A memory-foam cushion would have made it ideal.
The stage is very high. But once the play began, that wasn't an issue for me. I missed some entrances/exits upstage right, but it was not a big deal. The cast is small and most of the action took place center stage. I noticed that the two people in the middle of my banquette had problems seeing over the persons in front of them. I had a clear view of the stage.
With fees, the total cost came to $42--a Broadway bargain. I recommend my seat. |
