Stuhlbarg has indeed had quite a year, though not on stage. He is outstanding in the third season of television's Fargo and does beautiful work in The Shape of Water and The Post in addition to Call Me By Your Name. Incredibly, he also filmed a role in the now-aborted biopic Gore, which, alas, starred Kevin Spacey and may never be seen in our lifetime.
I have only seen him on stage in The Pillowman and The Voysey Inheritance. It would be wonderful to have him back in New York, on or off-Broadway. |
