| As Telly Leung from Aladdin so eloquently just said, may we all have more compassion towards each other in 2018. There is a small minority of folk at one off-Broadway theater company who have pure hate in their heart, but they are the minority here. It's truly sad when vicious hate towards any group of people (whether due to their race, religion, or any other reason) is shown on the theater stage in diverse NYC. (Not to be confused with diverse opinions, which cause us to think and are a welcome addition). I see the true theater spirit each year at the BC/EFA curtain calls and the BC/EFA Flea Market; the true joyfulness and generosity in everyone's faces really shines through. Everyone at the BC/EFA Flea Market each year really restores my faith in the theater community. A happy new year to everyone in 2018. |
