The blasphemous speech, rhetoric, intonations and depictions (among other things) of Jesus Christ and the Baby Jesus, as well as the warped "mass" and adulation. The playwright wanted this to be a "speeding train" of hate, racism and anti-Catholic bigotry, to use his terminology. People with such vile hatred towards others don't belong in beautiful diverse NYC. Especially despicable in the holy season.
