If someone had grown up attending a Catholic mass, he/she would be absolutely horrified. And that is the point of this vile bigoted play, to denigrate the Catholic religion.
Sponsors need to know what they are supporting. Perhaps they would want to support some nonprofits instead that truly help others (such as the Hetrick-Martin Institute, the Ali Forney Center, or the LGBT Center in NYC). Think of all the good their money could do, instead of being thrown away at a theater company that is full of bigots that spreads hate? |
