| I was at BB King's the other night, up front, right under her microphone ! As she sang (perfectly !) she started to look about 17, and she certainly sounded about 25. She's absolutely adorable, and so relaxed, doing what she is expert at. I handed her roses. What a thrill to see someone I've idolized fully blossom in front of my eyes ! Lennon's "Imagine" was only one of many magic moments. All my favorites got better & better with time: Pet, Ruth Brown, Kay Starr, Vic Damone, etc. Time can be a good friend. I think it's about leading a good life, and knowing your craft. Continued health , happiness, and success to a legend who REALLY deserves that title ! |
