John Cullum, guesting on "The Middle" again tonight, sang a bit of "On a Clear Day..."

It was germane to the plot, though seemingly a stretch considering that he's the leading character's father. But a lovely touch in addition to being an inside joke. There he was in the car, hooked up to oxygen. He sang the opening lines.
