YESSSSS. That's something I only noticed when I saw it again in Chicago, where Karen Olivo was turning in a very, very solid performance. I f'ing LOVE Karen, who I've been lucky to meet offstage as well. She's a gem. But it made me realize how little stage time Angelica really gets.
Somehow, Angelica felt like it was written FOR Ms. Goldsberry, an all the more incredible task considering that Lin-Manuel Miranda hadn't known her during the writing, and she essentially just straight up auditioned for it.
