I couldn't agree more. I felt like I was stuck in the middle of nowhere with them, wanting to get out.

I appreciate subtlety, but I just don't understand what I was supposed to take away from these characters or this. . . plot. . . if you can call it that.

For me, theater needs to be more than just a reflection and this felt like a reflection of some of the most mundane moments at that. And yes, so, so earnest that for me it felt soulless.

I'm glad it's resonated with many, but I left feeling relieved that it was only one act.
