I loved the Gallery Players’ production directed with such economy and grace by Igor Goldin. The lead was beautifully played by Bobby Steggert. Beautifully. And the history of the gay subculture in the military was a revelation. I cannot know if it would appeal enough to a non-gay audience to make it “commercial.” The choreography/choreographer was great and great with the period. And the one woman who had to help create an overall context was just thrilling.
Great. Great. Great. Great. Great. |
