| Yeah, I agree 100% with summertheater. While it might not have been the greatest play I've ever seen, I was shocked as to how harshly it was treated by the critics after I went to see it. Very enjoyable with a great cast. | |

| I don't think the reveal about being in neither political party hurt the husband's chances. I think it was clear from the party scene that he just wasn't one of the top candidates, just a dark horse. This was according to the Blair Brown character. I think his name was thrown in as a result of his political connections but that he wasn't at the top of the list. Then, when Chloe rejects Peter, he makes sure that Tom is out. Which sets Uma's character into taking action by blackmail. I agree. I think the script was weak but didn't deserve the pounding that it received by the critics. It was topical, fun and I liked the acting. I rather enjoyed this more than METEOR SHOWER, which was trying to be grander and failed. |

| "I think the script was weak but didn't deserve the pounding that it received by the critics. It was topical, fun and I liked the acting." Do you not agree that a great deal of what happens in this play is well beyond credibility in the real world? Or do you think that was intentional, and the play is not supposed to be viewed as remotely realistic? I'd be very curious to hear your thoughts on this. |
