The songs were often wonderful, toe-tapping pastiches of 1940s songs, and they were among the reasons I saw ''Yank!'' many times.
I also contributed a donation to the making of the cast album, among many others (including Ann Miner), and still enjoy hearing it.
For the record, ''Yank!'s'' score was nominated by the Outer Critics Circle and the Drama Desk as being among the best of that season. |
