| How "partial" are these seats? Can anyone share their experiences...especially with relation to Dolly and the scenes missed there (if any)? Specifically looking at right box, row c, seats 1-2 if that helps. |

| I sat in the House Right box, the very last row, seat on the rail. You cannot see Vandergelder's doorway or anybody coming in or out of the door. You also can't see the closet in Irene's shop, so you miss a bit of the Motherhood March shenanigans. During Harmonia Gardens, you cannot see any of the Miss Money / Vandegelder scene at all. None of it. You can hear the laughter but you can't see what is so funny. That said, you get a great view of Midler (or Dolly) throughout the show, and are very close so you can see faces. I was pleased with the seat, but then went back to see Donna Murphy so I could see what I missed. | |

| I was in the left box and the only thing I really missed was Dolly eating the dumplings at the start of the court scene. She was downstage right. Apparently funny--the audience laughed a lot. | |

| I was in those seats as well (house left box) - i thought the seats were TERRIBLE. All of the dumpling funny business that made the house roar so much was obstructed from view. I really felt left out of the fun. i'd never buy those again for this show based on my experience). |

| Would you say the right box seats might be better? I went ahead and purchased them...thinking this was her last performance (sigh)...and now I'm worried I've spent too much for terrible seats. | |
