| Green seems to agree with those on the board who say it is not a very good play though he does not agree with the reasons given by summertheater (or at least not with all of them.) Green does say that he understands why people with strong dogmatic faiths would be offended or upset. | |

| ...because he completely made them up. No matter how many times he claims the show is "racist." I'm actually doubtful he actually saw the show. I think he read a synopsis and saw that there was a Black cast member and immediately assumed race would be involved, which it is not. I don't remember one line of dialogue related to race, | |

| I've yet to find a professional review of MANKIND that isn't mixed-to-negative. (I was at the same performance Green attended, and I think he's if anything too generous to what for me was pretty atrocious writing.) Has anyone here read a mostly positive notice for this play, or even a rave? |
