| In this version the actress playing the angel is moved and carried by puppeteers in black that make it look like she can leap up and fly across the room and they operate her wings movement. I expect this is one reason there is an alternate Angel because it must be very physically difficult role for Perestroika being carried and acting like that. I saw it in London and its quite effective but missed the simple but stirring wire flying in of the angel from other productions a little. |

| The Angel's manifestation in London was kept under wraps. I'm not bothered by the reveal here, but some others are very committed to discovery at the time of performance. | |
