If you're talking about new Broadway productions during the season, it makes sense that the number of play productions would be relatively high, because plays almost always have far shorter runs than musicals on Broadway. Maybe be more relevant statistic is, how many plays as compared to musicals are running on Broadway at any one time? And the answer to that would be, "far fewer." |
