| Midler, Pierce and Trensch are leaving this week, and it was announced that Creel and Baldwin extended their contracts through at least the spring -- but what about Feldstein? I assume that she's staying on for the time being in the absence of an announcement otherwise, but does anyone know for sure? | |

| We were both guests on Z100 a few weeks ago and I asked her in the green room if she was staying on. She said she hadn’t decided what she was doing yet. - she was also a total delight Cheers Rob |

| she stops that stupid, repeated, high pitched laugh. Once or twice is enough. | |

| It's funny, the laugh MUST have struck something in you to think it would be ok if it only happened twice...since it only happens 3 times. ("...wherever he is, I'm not sure." [laugh] "...heavy veil." [laugh] "...then push!" [laugh] have been delivered consistently at every performance I've seen) Technically, only the second laugh is specified in the published script, but it's described with a "laughs, slaps her knee" stage direction, so the scale Feldstein takes it to seems within reason. I don't know that making it a conditional term for Feldstein would make much of a difference, though. Understudy Haley Podschun delivered a nearly identical laugh in the same 3 places when I saw her on as Minnie. |

| My point was more that I think it's interesting that twice would have been acceptable to you, but three was not. Your initial post was strongly worded in a way that could be read as commentary on something the actress was doing a lot throughout the show, as opposed to only 3 times (and only in that one scene) And to not give you false hope it'll change, since Feldstein's understudy has been directed to retain the choice. |
