| I've directed two productions of the show. It is very heart-felt and lovely. Its' strength comes from its characters. I fear the original Broadway production tried to make it more of a spectacle than it needed to be. Did you know that when the show did its Pre-Broadway tour it starred Robbie Benson in the role that Don Scardino eventually played? |
