Brilliantly put --- about as eloquent a precis of this superb play as one could wish for. I hope Lucy Kirkwood sees it at some point: it would gladden her soul.

She's a bore - She could have said the same thing in 15 minutes, but she dragged it out to 2 hours of pure torture, no intermission. I couldn't see one awake person in the rows and rows around me. Everyone was just passed out asleep it was so boring. I guess if you like Beckett and Pinter, you'd like something like this.

Eeyore is one of my favorite characters and so are you. (and you are most certainly not "filled with sawdust" as is he, apparently.) Not sure what summer person is filled with.

Not surprising to read this from you given you gave a standing ovation to the dreck that was “Bulldozer.”

You've revealed far more about yourself than you have about THE CHILDREN, a beautifully written, thought-provoking work. I thought the acting, direction, and design work were superb. Sergius' succinct take is spot-on, as far as I'm concerned. Perhaps you should stick to lighter, glitzier fare that requires less concentration.

"Thank you for a memorable afternoon, usually one must go to a bowling alley to meet a man of your stature."

I know that neither Beckett nor Pinter could meet your exacting standards, as your preferred fare is no doubt "Everybody Loves Opal" or "Mamie's Getting Married" or perhaps "Under the Yum Yum Tree."
