I was on my way to see Meteor Shower on Sunday night (cute but ultimately forgettable) and saw several video trucks parked outside the Shubert Theatre, with cables leading into the theatre.
Anyone know if Bette's final performance was filmed? (Matinee or evening.) I know there's no way on hell a video documentation is coming out *now*, but it would be pretty exciting if one of Broadway most-celebrated and least-documented performance will turn out to have some sort of visual preservation. I get that it was the PR/sales strategy, but it's amazing that a Broadway show in 2017 did not have even one (official) filmed moment released. |
