| I won the lottery after a dozen or so tries. Was surprised to get such a good seat (Orch, Row K center). The show is not exactly on the level of THE BAND'S VISIT, but not every show has to be. It's full of charm and goofy fun. The lead, Ethan Slater, is a first-rate triple threat who very successfully conveys a childlike cartoon character in human form. I don't think it will go home empty-handed come Tony time, whether for costumes, stage design or performance. |
