And it would need a big theater like Marquis or Broadway (King Kong) and probably $1M to cover transfer costs. for a show making under $1M most weeks (except holiday week), it wouldn't be financially prudent to transfer. But not all investors are financially prudent. I just doubt any theater owners would want to rent to the show since its prospects aren't that good for a lease based on percentage of gross. |
