That's a lot of money to raise. And Fortress, one of the partners, has been in a sticky place and was just bought by a bank. I wouldn't expect developement anytime soon. The only sure thing seems to be the city's green lighting of the project. We love our developers in nyc.
I was just in Times Square for the first time in a while and it struck me how much of a brand name retail environment its become. It feels a bit like Herald Square but hipper, younger and richer. |
