| I'm not a big fan of SISTER ACT, but its score is by Alan Menken, a composer who has had major success in writing very prolifically for musical theater and film. I would think that's justification enough for NYU or some other school to do the show, plus that general type of music turns up frequently in musical theater, so the students should be given opportunities to perform it. |
