Doing a show because the writer of it has written other better and more popular scores is not a good reason.
I also disagree... they should be doing work the challenges them and gives them a chance to exercise their muscles in ways they might not get as many chances to in their early careers. Also, there are PLENTY of actual worthwhile shows for them to do in college that have the "general type of music turns up frequently in musical theater"... |
