"Slight" is not the same as "baffling" and "dull." I agree with the former, yet I rather enjoyed it. It doesn't explore any issues well, and it indulges in melodrama to reach a conclusion, but I was a bit surprised by where it went before then.

I've gotten so used to melodrama that it barely registers anymore, unless a play is truly unredeeming.
