She also starred in a suspense film THE STAR, playing an actress rehearsing for her Broadway musical. There were scenes of her rehearsing a musical number with the Chorus boys. James Garner was romantic lead, Maureen Stapleton her secretary, and Michael Biehn as the fan turned Stalker. I don't think it did much business but I went back for a second look and picked the dvd on sale when local Blockbuster went out of Business. I greatly enjoyed the film.
