| There's a new page on "Memories of Melody Top" about a 1978 production of what we all must agree is a forgotten musical -- HIGH BUTTON SHOES. Starring Monty Hall and Anne Jeffreys, it was produced at Milwaukee's Melody Top under a newly constructed "wooden dome." This dome replaced the old tent, and it was a fixture on the city's far northwest side until it burned down in the fall of 1991. Take a few minutes to remember this fun and sweet musical comedy which thrived in barns, tents and auditoriums decades ago: |
