| The Goodman/Robert Falls production with Nathan Lane and Brian Dennehy was exquisite . Not only due to Lane and Dennehy, though they were both excellent, but due to the extraordinary supporting cast and the remarkable production/ scenic design. In my experience, rather extensive, the supporting cast can make or break this marathon of pipe dream misery. | |

| agreed. For better or worse, I think they are again proceeding on the notion that the only thing that matters is Denzel. I say again because I remember the day I was walking down Broadway and made a right turn at 47th Street as they were installing the Raisin in the Sun marquee. The only word that caught my attention was DENZEL. Washington was below, in 1/4 the font size. | |
