Man of La Mancha London Recording - "Complete Musical Play"

Had the urge to listen to it this morning. Luckily, I transferred it to CD before getting rid of my LP collection several years ago. I know there were a few things left out, such as the Moorish Dance, but still find it fascinating that they decided to record the entire show. Can't find too much information about it. Even the book "The Impossible Musical" doesn't give it much recognition. Some of the songs sound like they may have been from a different recording session. Decca had also released a single LP with only the musical numbers. Just wondering why they chose to record the entire show and wish there were more details about it. I'm certainly glad they did since it's one of my favorites! Only other musical I can think of that was recorded "complete" is THE MOST HAPPY FELLA. Wish there was more.
