I often benefit when people here post links to artlcles, interviews that I would have missed..If someone who read the Petula Clark article in the Wall Street Journal could post it, I'd bet people would find it interesting, esp. the parts of her childhood, hiding from the Blitz with family in Wales, then returning to London where she began her career. She and Julie Andrews were mini-stars, singing for UK troops. Miss Clark obviously wrote the article herself(It's not an interview), making me hope there's an autobio on the way. When Miss Clark married Claude Wolf and moved to france, she toured as the opening act for Jacques Brel, who wrote a beautiful song, En Enfant, just for her.
