I hope Miss Fabray is enjoying her late 90s and is in good health and mind. Although we've been using the term for a quarter century now, she really is- literally- "one of the last" of the Golden Age stars still with us. How sad it must be for her to have seen the deaths of two of her onscreen daughters (Mary Tyler Moore and Bonnie Frankin).
I know their birth process has been painful, but what a gift that the Broadway: The Golden Age movies were to us: almost all the interviewees of the first film have now gone! |
